TIME, please stop and let's have a chat..

Some of you may ever thinking about the TIME...
These past few years, I really feel this feeling of extraordinary speed of time.

Actually what is TIME? there is nothing. In fact, we do not know such thing as TIME. What we know is the things that represent TIME... such as seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years, decades, centuries, etc. And we also know about gadgets representing TIME, for instance clock..

We know nothing about the actual TIME...
That is why we cannot save the beautiful moments that we spend with the ones we love. We can only save the PICTURE of the beautiful moments.. We can only save the thing that represents that moment. Well, luckily we human can save at least those things.. to keep them in mind.. that we have gone through such beautiful moments.

I was thinking about the time that I have passed. Childhood... Teenage-hood... and now, I am running towards early Manhood who will have his own family and business. While I was in School, I did not even think about TIME. I only think about when will I go home...When will be the Lunch Break, and when will the bell ring????? But i was not thinking that I am passing one of the beautiful moments in my life...which is school life...

Passing school life, I entered College, which passed extremely quick... only 3 years. But the thing is that... I learn how to preserve TIME... Respect every seconds I have given...

I am glad that even I do not understand TIME, I can enjoy the TIME I spent with my family, friends, and couple.. Even though I can't feel TIME, I am happy that I could go through the beautiful moments I spent because TIME exists..

I am happy that I could take pleasure in each day breathing fresh (not really) air in my beloved city...

Thank you for everything.. Who creates TIME...

You are what you eat

You are what you eat

This phrase is already known since the year 1826 when Anthelme Brillat-Savarin wrote “tell me what you eat and I will tell you what you are” in Physiologie du Gout, ou Meditations de Gastronomie Transcendante. Not only Brillat-Savarin who had that saying, but also Ludwig Andreas Feuerbach said “Man is what he eats”. Those quotations are not to be meant taken literally. They were stating that the food eaten has a bearing on what one’s state of mind and health.

The phrases want to remind us that what we eat would lead us to become something. For example, if you want to be a body builder, you have to eat more protein in your daily meals. Foods also reflect cultures where, for instance, Asians eat more rice compared to Western people.

What we eat would greatly influence ourselves positively or negatively. If we consume healthy foods, our body would obviously healthy, and if we have unhealthy eating routine, it is almost the same like we are eating and hurting our own body. Unhealthy eating habit would consume our body’s health through several diseases like heart attack, obesity, and diabetes. The world knows diabetes could cause you lose your legs, and when you already lose your legs, you will regret your old eating habit which “ate” your legs. Heart attack is just the same. When you got heart attack you should regret your eating habit that ate your heart’s health.

So, Do not let yourself eat you. Healthy eating choices such as organic foods and more vegetables than meats would help keeping your complete body until years. Well, if you still want to maintain the unhealthy eating pattern, you will only last 10 years or less because your body is not enough to feed you that long.

el Silencio es Oro..

Some people choose to keep silent when asked with crucial matters even when they know the answers.. Why?
Like the old saying, "Silence is Gold"... maybe this one makes them silent.

But actually being silent is not always that good. You cannot speak your mind, so You will only be able to "follow", not to "lead". Please speak when your answer is so important. You speak when your voice is important. Don't waste it for unnecessary things.

However, I agree if we keep silent in some situation. For instance, when you are not so sure about the result if you answer. you don't know if you speak, there would be someone disturbed or hurt. And when you are not so clear about the problem, Because if you answer with wrong info, you are so fucked up...

Secondly, you have to keep silent about someone's secret. Please don't spread others' deep secret to anyone else. Being silent will help keeping the situation nice and easy.

Thirdly, being silent in the class or meeting... You speak, you disturb. Unless you are required to answer or ask questions.

Forth, you must keep silent if you are facing a person who is so stubborn, because when you argue, there is no ending.

Lastly, you have to keep silent if you are being lectured because of your mistake.. Don't defend yourself with non sense reasons...

Yeah, I know these things are common. I just want to keep this warm..
Because I adore the beauty of silence. You may enjoy silence in your time. Silence will bring you hope and refreshment.

Like the old saying, "Silence is Gold"... I think this saying is not referring to behaviour, but it refers to situation that would help you relax and forget all pressures in your life. That is why silence is the purest music...more than the Classics...

My body is My Enemy

In your life, You may be thinking that you do not have any enemies at all. You never fought or hated someone else. In this context, you are right if you say you have no one as you enemy.

But in other condition, sometimes you have to fight yourself. You have to fight your body to wake up earlier, you must force yourself to sweat in order to decrease the cholesterol in your blood, and you have to hold your appetite.. also to reduce the fat contained in your blood vessel.

Damn..those problems mentioned above are mine.

Two days before I post this one, I have my blood sucked and checked because since I have finished my Uni life, I feel so lazy and my neck often feels unease.

Well, Guess what...My cholesterol level is high above the limit. The normal level is below 200, and mine is 319...What the F***....

My friends and families do not expect that to happen with my current posture. In fact, IT IS!!!

From that day, I really have to force myself not to eat foods that I like... I have to wake up earlier to do some exercise, and at the evening, I have to take my medicine. If not, I could be having severe illness in 10 years, and I don't want that... I have to prevent myself, specifically my blood, as my destroyer...as a time bomb to myself.

But, this all does not matter to me.. As I also want to have a healthier lifestyle even before I checked my blood in the lab. Hmmm, at least I have a better motivation to get the ideal and healthy me. =)

From this experience, I understand that there is no enemies harder to defeat than you own self.

Pergunakan Ranting "Patah" menjadi Anak tangga untuk naik ke atas

Setiap hal yang pernah kita lakukan baik yang berat atau ringan sekalipun pasti akan membawa hikmah dan pengalaman tersendiri... Baru-baru ini saya banyak melakukan kesalahan di dalam pekerjaan yang saya lakukan. Terkadang saya sempat merasa down dan merasa bodoh tidak kompeten dalam melakukan hal-hal kecil sekalipun.
Namun setelah beberapa saat berpikir saya mendapatkan beberapa inspirasi yang menguatkan:

1. Pada dasarnya,manusia didesign tidak selalu sempurna dalam melakukan sesuatu. Bahkan secara biologis, mata kita sering menipu otak kita ketika melihat kedalaman pada air. Mata kita melihat air sepertinya dangkal, akan tetapi pada kenyataanya air tersebut sangat dalam. Dengan kata lain, mata kita sering "mengelabui" kita.
Contoh lainnya, ketika kita menceritakan sebuah cerita yang pernah kita dengar pun, tidak akan pernah sama seperti aslinya.

2. Yang harus kita lakukan adalah jangan sampai menghabiskan waktu dengan mengeluh2 karena melakukan kesalahan. tetapi bagaimana kita membuat kesalahan tersebut menjadi motivasi kita untuk naik ke atas.
Kesalahan diumpamakan sebagai orang yang memanjat pohon. ketika seseorang sudah sampai di ketinggian tertentu, dia duduk di sebuah ranting yang dia pikir kuat untuk mehanan bebannya. namun tiba2 ranting kayu tersebut patah dan orang tsb jatuh.
Jika orang tsb tidak mengeluh2 karena kejatuhannya, dan menggunakan ranting patah tsb menjadi tangga, maka orang tsb berhasil mengubah kesalahan menjadi keberhasilan di masa yang mendatang.

3. If you do mistake, it means you are doing something rather than standing still. and doing mistakes let you learn something more valuable than doing something successfully. but still, don't be stupid of making the same mistake twice.

As we knew recently, He died with the name "Legend"... Legend in his songs...his voices..and the most remarkable one...His Dances and movements... That's too good to be forgotten...He is so damn cool when he danced... (not with his phenomenal "grabbing" move...hahaha)

To me, He was actually not so famous anymore in his final years. The radio and tv are seldom broadcasting his songs and clips, even mentioning his name is one in a million act. The radio and TV were focusing on the Rising stars, not Jacko anymore. This just like He already a "Dead Legend" when he was still alive. Even Jacko himself mentioned "I'm better off dead. I'm done": Michael Jackson's fateful prediction just a week before his death.

Yes, You were right Michael... When you are dead you are famous again..but, why? Why should a man become more famous when he already dead? are the people in this world only can appreciate a man after he already met his death?

However, after his death, everywhere in the world mourned for him, cried for him, and listened to his songs again and again regretting his death. Even when I went to other country... I could still hear his songs in the crowd, the radios were discussing about him, and the TV broadcast his memorabilia and video clips.

One thing that I can conclude... Michael Jackson is a Legend before and after his death. Although he died, but his name will still be remembered all over the world because of his strong influences for this world from his songs like "Heal the World", "You are not alone", and "Earth Song".
He is still alive in his creations...
His career has been revived through his own death.

Good Bye Michael Jackson... You will still be the "King of Pop"..

I got things from Ice Age 3...

I just watched Ice Age 3 yesterday...And I like it.. One of the best animation movie.

Even though this is an animated movie, which usually targeted for children, the meaning and humour were not so childish. Each of the mammals in the film also have strong characteristics. One of them is Diego who was obsessed of having a great adventure in life. So he decided to leave his comrades who were waiting for a soon to be born mammoth which he believes he has nothing to do with it.

There is also a character, actually not one of the main story character, which has a very strong characteristic. It is the squirrel who is extremely obsessed to a nut. The squirrel is very identical with people who have no limit in pursuing their target, with people who will do Every thing in order to get the one they want / need. Shortly, "There is no Giving up in his life"...

No give up is very applicable and useful if you are pursuing something that is retrievable. But if you are thinking about something unrealistic, you should have been re planned it from the beginning, and re think it if you are able to pursue it by yourself.

The second one that I got... Please do not interfere some others issues. Like the character "Sid", he took three unknown eggs which stimulate a T-rex to take him away (almost killed him actually). and this thing causes problems to his friends to safe him by risking their life.

Last one is friendship. When Sid was taken away by the Rex, his friends are willing to risk their life to safe him. Worse, the mammoth is waiting a baby, but it does not stop them to try finding Sid. The friendship is very very strong. This is what I call true friends. They are not only with you in your happy times, but also in a desperate times. In the film, Sid did not ask for help, but his friends initiatively risking their life although they know that it is Sid's own fault for "stealing" the eggs. Even Diego who were leaving the group join his friends to save Sid.

Will you do this to your friends, risking your life to find your missing friends?

Is there any Coincidence?

Today's word is coincidence...
First, I would like to tell the definition.

"A remarkable concurrence of events or circumstances without apparent causal connection." by Oxford dictionary.

Do you believe coincidence? or you prefer "it is planned by a Power?"

This one is a hard one. To me and my religion belief, There are no such things of coincidence. you may disagree, but this is what I believe.

Talking about pure coincidence, let me take you to see the sky... The perfect placement of planet earth and the sun. Have you ever thought that if the earth move one meter away from its sun, great change of earth climate will occur. Ice will cover new places on earth. Maybe there are no more hot beaches, tanned skin, and surfing. Because it is too cold to take off you clothes. Even wearing a single T-Shirt will cool you to death. ( Maybe this one is too Hyperbole)...

And imagine when the earth move one meter toward the sun? great heat will occur on earth. You will not get only tanned skin, but burned dark black skin. Many forests are scorched,no more snows and the sea level will rise due to melted ice on the poles. Well, most effects are worse to our today's Global Warming. so at least Stop Global Warming!!!!

Back to Coincidence, do you think the earth staying on its orbit is a pure coincidence? I think it is not. It is arranged and managed by a Power to make it steady still on the exact route...The Power of our God. Our creator...

Yesterday, I experienced a coincidence in a car park. I went to a mall in my City. This mall is famous for its traffic jam around, and the difficulty to find the square space for your car to park. Well... I complained for 5 minutes because the Queuing combos (jam and car park finding) happened to me, plus, my steer wheel sounded a bit if I turn it either left or right. I said some bad words in my heart as there is my girlfriend beside me. Sorry, because I just got a combo of vexations back then, not only the Queuing ones.

Then, I stopped my car during the search to find the sound behind my steer wheel. When I stopped, a car turn its engine and go. Right in front of my car...maybe it was only 3 meters away. Honestly, I did not notice if the car would exit.. But because of the sound of my wheel, and I decided to stop at the point.. I got a place to park... when I heard the engine, and the car went away... I spontaneously said another bad word...hahaha....

Do you think it is coincidence or given?

When You are Fucking Damn Busy...

Have you ever experience the situation when you are doing something urgent, something more urgent came to you. and then, someone else come to you to do some workssss? finally then, you found out mistake for the urgent one so you have to do it all over again because the time almost out ... What a Hectic situation...

Just now, I experience that situation. I sweat although my office room was not hot, I did not know which one to do first, and I was not able to concentrate fully.

However, I learned something...

When you are panicking...The fist thing you have to do is:
1. STOP thinking and moving!!
2. Take a few deep breaths...
3. Slowly think what you have to do...one by one...dont think assignment B if you are doing assignment A.

Then you will find out that you have finished all the works...After that, you are ready to enjoy the others in a relax situation.

Maybe you all have known this...But I just want to remind you since you may forget this things... Enjoy your day...=)

I almost cried while watching this video...


This girl was seeking justice and truth. Protesting the election result in front of the government... But what did she got? a bullet right through her chest...
She might not be expected this tragedy happen when she left her house...
She was still young...
My heart hurt while watching seconds when she died.

Why should you shoot this woman, Iran? Why don't you just hear the protest peacefully?
and for the protesters...please respect the government if you want to be respected while shouting your aspiration...

Iran, please...Just make an open dialog with the protesters...don't use any violence...

Clock Watching...

The title was inspired from Jason Mraz's Song...But actually this post has nothing to do with Mr. A-Z...

Let's get to the topic..

Have you ever thought about a clock numbers? well, just now I was thinking about why does a clock has 12 numbers. here is what I found...

Bagi penggemar film “Summer Holiday”, yang dibintangi Richie Ren and Sammy Cheng 10 tahun lalu, pasti akan sangat menyukai Pulau Redang ini Karena Pulau inilah pulau yang berpasir putih dan ber air bening di film tersebut.

Biaya untuk menuju ke pulau tersebut pun terjangkau. Kurang lebih, kalian hanya perlu mengeluarkan biaya sekitar Rp 3juta – Rp 4juta per orang termasuk tiket pesawat, kamar untuk 5 (lima orang) dan makan Buffet selama 3 hari 2 malam di pulau tersebut, dan souvenir.

Bagi pecinta pantai dan laut, sudah tidak diragukan lagi, pulau ini adalah tempat yang cocok untuk liburan tengah tahun karena cuaca dan kondisi laut yang sangat mendukung pada pertengahan tahun.

Aktifitas yang dapat dilakukan di pulau ini penuh dengan interaksi alam seperti snorkeling (berenang di permukaan laut) menikmati keindahan terumbu karang dan ikan yang penuh warna.Banana Boat, Kayaking, Diving, dan lain-lain.

Untuk Snorkeling pun di Pulau Redang tidak hanya snorkeling biasa karena di sana kita bisa melihat Moa (balut) raksasa sepanjang 3 meter dan Ikan Kerapu Raksasa kira-kira seberat 10kg, dan panorama kapal karam.

Bagi yang belum pernah berenang di pinggir pantai dengan air yang sangat bening dan ditemani oleh ikan-ikan, pengalaman di Pulau Redang ini tidak akan terlupakan.

The Rarest food in town...

In the middle of each year, the city of "Ondel ondel" celebrates its Birthday. This year is the 482nd anniversary. Some of Jakarta citizens join the happiness of their beloved city's birthday by attending Gambir Expo or so called "Jakarta Fair". In the entire month, the exhibition will always been crowded by bunch of people who would like to feel and share historical joy.

However, the main story isn't about the Jakarta Fair, but the Rarest food in the town, KERAK TELOR...Maybe some of you are not familiar with this food because this Kerak Telor is only been sold once a year in a single area, which is Kemayoran. If you visit Kemayoran on the month of June, you will definitely see so many Kerak Telor sellers in every 3 meters of the road.


For those who do not know what Kerat Telor is... Basically, Telor is egg, and Kerak means crust rice which been barely cooked in order to keep the crunch of raw rice, and the rice will stick to the bottom of the small cooking pan, so the maker should put a little bit more effort to take it out ..
Thus, Kerak telor is the mix of egg and the "Kerak" combined with some dried coconut powder and Fried red onion ( i hope you understand, I have a hard time translating local foods)....

For the price, this Kerak telor is very very cheap. If you convert it into US currency, it only costs 0.9 cents. but the demand during the month of June reaches the peak. People from every corner of Jakarta come to Kemayoran to attend Jakarta fair as well as to buy Kerak telor as "souvenir"...

Since Kerak Telor appears only once a year, you may wonder where the sellers are doing throughout the year. I asked them about this matter, and I found that some of them are not originally Kerak Telor makers. The ones whom I asked were driver, house builder, small store keeper and other not so high class workers. However, becoming a temporary Kerak telor Seller is very attractive because of the high demand and income for a month.

I guess this is what I could share about one of Jakarta's unique trade marked food.

Respect Diversity...

I born in a very diverse big family... There are some of my Uncle and Aunty's are from other religion and even race. However, we respect each others' belief and origin without any significant efforts. I have Indian, Chinese, Malayan, and American Jewish relatives. Being in this family, I learn to respect all diversities in this world.
I respect all races and beliefs and religions because I am literally one of them. Nothing can be discriminated because we born and grow here in the same place, Indonesia. So, I can't find any good reason to discriminate. Face characteristics, language, skin colour, and beliefs are not good reasons for being disrespectful to each others.
Although my face does not show the mixed race and culture, diversity runs in my blood. I won't disrespect my own part...My own family.
I can't say we have same characteristics, but I can say that we are from the same root.
I write this without residing the facts that there are some people whom we try to respect, insult us by mentioning the differences between us. At least we already try to fully respect them with all of our heart. Whether they want to respect us or not, it is their choices...

Do you P.L.A.N?

During my undergraduate years, most of my Marketing Lecturers recommend us, the students, to plan all of our activities. To be honest, I am not used to plan all of them, because it is not so effective. But actually, Planning is a very useful way to be successful.
Let’s start with the P…
P stands for Perfect. When you plan, all of the things that you need to do, bring or make would be perfect and nothing would be left behind. So, everything will be Perfect. Usually you plan by writing things down on any place. I do it on a small paper and stick it on my wall. There is saying “If you don’t write it, then it is not doable”.
And my favourite one is “If you fail to plan, then you are planning to fail.” By unknown Old Saying.
(If one of you know who says this, lemme know)

L stands for Lead. Well, this is an obvious one. When you plan, then you are acting as a leader. Only Leaders Plan. The followers are only acting and doing according to the leader’s plan.

A stands for Answer…
When you plan, you will have all answers for all questions. Because when you plan orderly, you will face many problems that need to be solved. As you plan, earlier, you will have longer time to think for a solution. In other word, when you plan, you would have complete gear to go to a war zone. You will have a bullet proof vest since you have spotted that in a warzone, you will be facing bullets “running” around.

N stands for Nesting…
You see birds build a nest during the days when they still can build it. They plan far before in order to have a safe house. They plan the nest step by step by gathering a single stick or small branch to form a small “plate” for them and their children. Thus, planning helps you to have a so called “house” for you to have a safe works. You will have no worries because everything is already planned.

So remember to P.L.A.N… en

I am Sylar.. the Average Guy..

Just want to share some of my feeling and what I've got today.
After thinking and struggle to find my true self which made me down recently...
I found a very good conclusion from one of my best friend.

Before talking about "General Guy" deeper, I will talk about what happened to me on these days... I was thinking that I do not have any expertise. I thought that I do not have any competencies. some proof, even though during high school year, I got good marks, I still cannot find any best subjects. I cant find the subjects that I like the most...

But, after some chat with my friend,I got the one clue that is very important for me to stay in the course. This clue really helps me to know my character better.
he told me that being general is my expertise... I can help in everything although not as an expert. Yeah, i realize that so long, but not this clear....Now, I could recognize myself as the "general Guy"...my abilities are more or less are in same level...

is that strength or weakness? Some people say that every one must have at least one expertise that he/she like the most because being general is as same as Zero cos you can do nothing. However, I would make it my strength though. Because I could help others in many things...

You may be wondering, why I put the title "I am Sylar"... Besides He is my favourite character in Heroes series... I feel that He is just like me..."the General Guy"...

Just now I remember that when I play games that required me to choose the ability of my character, most of the time I choose the one with has average level in every ability. for instance, A has Greater Power but lower speed, B has lower Power bit greater speed, and C has average power and average speed... then I would choose C...
so, What do you choose?

"Do we deserve a second SECOND chance?"

I will start this by giving an example. A tries to borrow Rp50000 for his sudden needs. Although he says that he is "borrowing", I won't ask him to pay me back because he is my friend
However, he came back and ask me to lend him Rp100000 for his sudden needs and to pay the money he lost in a casino with the money I lent him.
In this case, would you give him a second chance?

Based on my first posting about second chance in "Everybody deserves a second chance", I told you all to give everyone a second chance. But would you strong enough to fight your anger to your friend? Would you trust him?

And, "do we deserve a second SECOND chance?".

I suggest you not to give chances to every situation, because you definitely need to analyze the problem first, and the person you are giving a second chance. Not every person deserves one because not every person has responsibility. And things that make them to fail is in their own selves.
Maybe because of laziness, untruthfulness, and many other negative factors.

So if you want to give a second or third or more, you have to analyze it first. What to analyze?
1. the factor they fail
2. the passion to be successful
3. the vision of their work
4. all of the background (try to understand deeply what is he/she doing)

But try not giving a second chance fully free. You have to make sure them that they will use the second chance properly and not to waste it.
honestly, second chance is not so easy to give. But you have to...
as I believe, we are also a "second chance" person. en

Several times, the character "Marcus" asks whether he is deserve to be given a second chance?

I say YES. Every one deserves a second chance because he/she is still learning. In this life, there is no time to finish learning. "Ancora Imparo" is a sentence from Michaelangelo in his last years of life which means "I am still Learning". Even Michaelangelo, one of the most respected person who had ever lived in this world said that he is still learning. Coincidentally, Ancora Imparo is the sentence at the bottom of my University's logo.

So, making Mistake is a common act because you are still in search of doing the right thing. Any mistake...Small or big mistake are the same...Everyone needs a second chance in condition he/she wants to atone and redeem their own mistakes...
Second chance will produce a better person.
FYI, If you say No, you are refusing to use HONDA, KFC, APPLE, and Johnson&Johnson's products as they have failed once. And you even refuse to use LIGHTING that was found by Thomas A. Edison who have failed almost 1000 times.

No Matter you Win or Lose, You want more....So, When should we stop?

The sentences that says "Human Will Never be Satisfied" is very applicable to this world of everything.
Whether you are winning or losing, you want more. Everything...
As a human, quitting is one of the most difficult things to do. One good instances is those who are smoking. Although they know that smoking will cause them losing their precious health, most of them barely thinking to quit.
Why? because of the environment that supports them to smoke and the additive substance from the cigarette itself.

One more damn good example is investment, especially money market investment which has high risk high return philosophy. When the investors gain a high fruitful return, they would definitely want some more. They do not want to gain only once but continuously. but when they lose, they even want to invest more. Why? because they hate losing. They do not want to quit investing while they are losing. They want to quit if they already gain the good return. But when they win, they would not even thinking to quit.

So, when is the best time to quit?

Some people say, the best moment to quit is when you feel enough winning...Bullshit...there is no "enough"...
Some people say, they would quit if the thing that they are doing start to disturb and destroy their life. I say, no... They would not. They would not even recognize the destruction because they are concentrating and enjoying the destructive moment.

When is the best time to quit?
Find it yourself. But don't be regretful if the time you quit doing it, everything is at the worst situation. Don't be too late...or else, you won't even have the second chance.

So, let me change the question...
When is the last time you see and have a good time with your family and friend?
When is the last time you do something nice to your family and friend?
When is the last time you give them fresh air while you are around?
When is the last time you make your friend and family happy?

PS: I do not say investing is no good. it is good, but stay at the course and your purpose. en

Being Disable...Shameful or Thankful? Cover or Uncover it?

I hope you all who have any disability can read this and be inspired.

Everybody has his/her weakness...Physical, attitude, behaviour, psychological, and other weaknesses. Do we have to be shameful or thankful? Do we have to cover them or uncover them?

If we feel shame about our own weaknesses, it won't help. Because, you will not be brave enough to go out of the box. You will feel limited and halted.
But if you feel thankful for being differently able (not disable)you will be able to overcome them and make it you strength. So, whether the general public want to accept or refuse you, it is up to them. I bet your true families and friends will definitely accept you unconditionally. If they are not, be Strong... Show them that you are still able even though with different way. Show your strength to bury your weakness...so LEARN and STRENGTHEN yourself...
But before being accepted by others, you have to admit your own self. How would others admit when you would not?

If we uncover our weaknesses, they will truly know us better. So they will tolerate and even help us to triumph over your disability...
Let me put it like this...If a person do not know if you cant speak, they will disrespect when you do not answer them. But if they know you are differently able, they would understand.

So...What should we do? Expose or Cover? the answer is none of them...
just show that you are able...differently... en

Oh man...I am addicted to this thing...the game, the communication, everything inside it.

I patronize facebook a lot to update, communicate and even play "standard" games almost every hour.
Those games are just an ordinary boring games, but I am not boring playing them. haizz... what's wrong with me??? Those games like Mafia Wars, Restaurant City, and Happy farm... What's so special with those? in terms of quality, it's zero...
but in terms of togetherness where we could play with friends in facebook, it is so fun...competing with friends, cooperate with them, man..i guess that's why I am so addicted to the game..and disturb my working hours taking care of my "restaurant" in facebook..hahaha...besides, it is real time game, so you have to keep them updated. en

This one, I was inspired by this morning's Champion's league 2009 which was a match between Barcelona vs Manchester United. I saw Lionel Messi as an amazing player that night.
He was once considered as a "rejected product" during his early training as a kid because of his low body height. His body is not as ideal as other football player. This was his regretful weakness. However, in several years...He became a very talented football player and he is one of the best. Why? it is because he can overcome his weakness and make it to be his strength. By having a short height, he has a better pace and faster run compared with others. He once could dribble the ball through several players from the middle of the field and scored (one of the player that got through by Messi was also the Keeper). What an awesome moment. With a small body, he could recover himself from falling so the ball won't be stolen by the enemy player.
After the departure of The Barca's Number 10 Ronaldinho, Messi replaced as the number 10. He got it when he was the age of 20 yo.

It is proven that he could overcome his weakness and make it to be his most valuable strength and he is succesful in bringing Barcelona achieving Treble award this year 2009(La Liga Champion, Champion's league, and Copa del Rey.
Impossible is Nothing by Adidas is a very good tag line and so much applicable for Messi...He can do it, why wouldn't we? en

Jakarta's new Hobby...NGANTRI...

Do you ever think that Jakarta people are really like to queue? I could say that Jak people are easily attracted by crowd. If they see some place fulled with people standing neatly in a long queue, they will try to join it no matter how long and how much time they would spend.

We see previous "booming" events in Jakarta when the early opening of the delicious smell Breadtalk and J.Co, are only last few years, after that, no line anymore in the store..

And now, the "newcomer" existed in Jakarta, Which is Sour Sally. I can't think and feel any satisfaction of standing on a long long long queue just for buying a cup of Frozen Yoghurt. Where is the worth of it? Wasting time just for satisfying you tongue with sour and cold thing. jeezz... Plussssss, The people in the line are more patient because of BlackBerry on their hand. Let's see how long the line would last in Sour Sally.

Well, I think Jak People do not want to be out dated. They want to know and experience the things which are trendy at the moment. Not only foods, the musics and gossips are also the same. That is why gossips and musics shows that report the newest songs and gossips can be seen everyday on various TV channels.

Ironically, not only High Income Jak People who queue in a long line, but also the low incomes. The difference is only the purpose of the queue. The low income ones are queuing in order to keep living. They do not have enough money to stay alive for tomorrow, so they stand in a line to get the Foods distributed by Government.
But, the High Income ones are queueing for only a cup or a box of "luxury" foods.

What an exhausting and exciting vacation in tanjung lesung!!!
Sea shore from morning to the afternoon and rice fields at the evening until morning again..hahaha..
Well..you could imagine how tiring it is..

I will start from the beginning.
It was a shinny morning even though the sea did not give us a clear sight in the water.the first 20 minutes was a devastating period.suddenly,a large. 1 meter (not really...hehee) "bandeng" swam toward us .first, I thought it was a sole baracuda which would definitely attack us when they are separated from their colony.but after it was shot, I was sure that it was bandeng.the frustrating time turned to an exciting time..


Well,after that bandeng,we did not shoot any other large fish.only some plate size "kakatua fish",grouper,and lobster..so,after 3 hours snorkeling,we decided to land ourselves and took a few hours nap.

After the sun hid itself,we took our hunting modified toyota land cruiser to the forest and rice fields.we did 2 trips in different area. Every time we decided to turn the car around,we found boars.the first area: young rice field.the boar was not so huge so I could dragged it by one hand.it did not die instantly by 5mm sniper.it took 2 shots and several ehem.."Slices" of golok.

The second area: old rice field.before we reached the rice field,we took a round about the nearby forest but we only saw foxes and cats.but after we reached the rice fields,we saw boars.this time we had 2 shooters.at the count of three,the two shooters shot the boar almost at the same time.to make sure,we gave one more shot.it was approximately 150m far.so I and 2 other persons decided to find and drag it.we found it still alive but cannot barely stand up coz the back legs are severely wounded.so it only moved creating a crop circle with the boar as the center.the breath was still heard loudly.we regret not to take the sniper with us coz we believe a 100kg boar won't die with golok.well,I shouted one of my team to come and followed by another one with the rifle.1 single shot right through its forehead killed it.

Two of us dragged it through the rice field mud.it was slipery and wet.it was so heavy so I substitute one to dragged it.yeah, it was damn heavy..after we nearly reached the car, we met a 30 degrees up slide land.it took 4 of us to push and pull the Huge boar and it caused me to have a blood bathhhhh...euww..it was warm and fresh..haha..delicious and gave me some adrenalin rush.I guess that was why vampire enjoy blood so much..hehehe..


I guess this is the end of my vacation report..hehehe...thx

What is Marketing? What do you think about it?
When I was younger, I thought marketing is just an annoying advertisement that disturbs my favourite tv shows, billboards that create a typical panoramic city environment with creative pictures, and finally disturbing sales people who stopped me when I was walking in the malls.

But trust me, marketing is not just that kind of things. Marketing is far way more interesting to know and understand. Knowing how a big brand like Coke and McD known widely, the story how Apple became an innovative brand, the story how nike's "swoosh" recognized globally, are the reason why I studied Marketing during my uni year.

Before I continue, what is marketing exactly?
Marketing is the social process by which individuals and groups obtain what they need and want through creating and exchanging products and value with others

yeah...the definition of marketing itself shows that it is more than advertisement, sales people, and billboards. It involves all of us. It is a process how to satisfy the customers, and we are the ones who act as customers. Without marketing process, you all wouldn't be provided with everything you need. Let's say, without marketing, you cant enjoy the aromatic delicious Starbucks Coffee at the morning. You cant enjoy wearing fashionable Vans shoes. You cant enjoy using the useful search engine google. And finally, you wont enjoy your laptop and internet that you are using to read this blog =).
Those people use marketing process in order to successfully distribute their incredible products to the end users, which are you and me.
basically, they use 4 P's... Product, which is the "thing" they provide like shoes, donuts, and tvs. Price which determines the value of the products. Place, which is where they would distribute the products to the customers. And lastly, Promotion which is the "annoying" tools that I mentioned before. However, as time goes by, I started to like every creative advertisement showed on media. For example,



Like those advertisements, marketers won't disturb the target customers but entertain by the funny and unique things. Of course marketing people have to cooperate with designers in order to create those ads.

I guess, it is enough for me to change your opinions about marketing. It is not that annoying...trust me, you'll love it if you know about the real Marketing. en

Lucky we have Google...

FYI, Google was founded by Larry Page and Sergey Brin in their Dorm room several years ago. and the name "google" was inspirated from "googol" which means the large number 10100, that is, the digit 1 followed by one hundred zeros (in decimal representation)
(even I got this from googling).
I think google used this word to show that they want to be the prefect one in searching millions or billions of things in online world.

I am amazed with Google. How the vision of being "the perfect search engine" is very successful today. Even some people make google as their "god"

Fortunately, I am not one of them even though I love google. The Googlism people realize how damn useful and important google in today's life. Everything we need to find, you can find them just with fingers. In yesterday's world, you have to find it in "manually" through walk, drive, and read. Speaking of reading, I, as a student a year ago, found google as the best place for research. I rally thankful that today, we have google as the search engine. Imagine when our parents or older brothers were still in their school or college times, they have to stay to the library for hours. But not in my time, I could just spend my precious time in front of my laptop, accompanied with may comfortable bed and chair.

I also admire their focus and concept of creating an enjoyable job for the employees. As we know, not so many offices are enjoyable by their employees. But we can experience that in Google office. try to google it if you want to see their office...=)

And the focus...Once, they focused of building a perfect search engine. Their workers are paid for only "how to make google a better search engine"...
I think that focus makes google so damn useful, now. However, I find google is not focusing to that search engine anymore. They provide things like email, translation engine, Google earth (the amazing one), and the Google Chrome.

I like Google due to their creativity showed from how they create a fun ambiance, I mean google will change or update their logo if there is a particular events. For example, today's (20 May 2009) google picture is about the "Missing Link" of Darwin's evolution theory. the logo is like this...

Finally, Google is on my list as one of the best things created by human after Computer and Internet...=) I hope google will get better and helpful as the future awaits... en
